N. IRELAND RESULTS

The Northern Ireland Pointer Club held two very successful days of Pointer and Setter trials in County Antrim at the end of September 2007. The club's Open breed stake was held in the Glens, Co Antrim, by kind permission of Glenarm Estates and local landowners. The ground proved to excellent for quartering and some serious hunting. The judges were Paddy Peoples and Carol Calvert. The steward of the beat was the new keeper of the estate Lee McMenamin who is seriously committed to bringing grouse numbers back to sizeable levels.

RESULTS
1st Mrs Janette Kean's Pointer Bitch Fearn Mist (FT CH Traigmhor Top Gear ex Fearn Image).
2nd Alan Neill's Pointer Dog Gerensary Digger (FT CH Traigmhor Top Gear ex FT CH Gerensary Clover).
3rd Jimmy Dalton's Pointer Dog Bone Aparte (Lisenair Luke Skywalker ex Exile on Main Street).
4th Richard MacNicol's Pointer Bitch Kissing Kate of Gerensary (Rumsdale Blue ex FT CH Allangrange
Heather).

The following day we made our way to Craigs Moss, Co Antrim, for the Open Stake all breeds by kind permission of Glarryford Gun Club and local landowners. This is a very well supported trial and the judges were Richard MacNicol and Edward Butler. 31 dogs competed for the top honours.

RESULTS
1st Alan Neill's Pointer Dog FT CH Gerensary Digger (FT CH Traigmhor Top Gear ex FT CH Gerensary Clover).
2nd Gerry Devine's English Setter Bitch FT CH Lefanta Kira (Lefanta Gift ex Irish FT CH Lefanta Page).
3rd Jimmy Dalton's Pointer Dog Animo et Lagopus (Lagopus Yogi ex Lagopus Yasmin).
